This is a pretty doll made for the French market. She has a perfect bisque head with lovely pale colouring, open close eyes with both eyelids intact and her original card pate and mohair wig. The very top of her forehead under the wig has a whitish patch where there was a paint miss in the making – very common in dolls and hardly worth mentioning but just for accuracy l am. Her body is in good condition. Two fingers on one hand have cracks which looks like they might have broken and been glued back on but it is hardly noticeable. She measures 18 inches and dates around 1910.
