About Glenda’s Antique Dolls
Glenda’s Antique Dolls began with a genuine passion for heritage, craftsmanship and the history held within each carefully made doll.
For

Glenda

honest
and

and
a

respect
for
the
artistry
of
19th

century
makers.
She
helped
to
form
‘Europes
Largest
Doll
Centre'
at
Grays
Antique
Market,
in Bond Street, London. Her approach was simple: quality over quantity, integrity over trend.
Today, the
collection
continues as a family-led business, preserving both her standards and her love for antique dolls.
A Legacy of Knowledge & Care
We specialise in authentic antique dolls, particularly: German bisque dolls, French makers, Victorian and Edwardian examples, cabinet-size and
display dolls and dolls in original condition.
Every doll is assessed carefully for: Head markings and maker identification, original clothing, wigs and shoes, condition - including hairlines or
restoration, and authenticity and period accuracy.
We understand that collectors value clarity and trust. Our descriptions aim to provide both.
Our Philosophy
Antique dolls are more than decorative objects - they are historical artefacts. They reflect the craftsmanship, materials and social history of their time.
We
do
not
aim
to
stock
large
volumes.
Instead,
we
focus
on
sourcing
pieces
that
meet
a
standard
of
quality
and
collectability
worthy
of
serious
collectors
and
thoughtful
buyers.
